Nationally Known Experts on Human Trafficking will be speaking on a variety of topics.

Workshops Include:

  • Best Practices: Cooperation Between Law Enforcement & Social Service Agencies
  • Effective Case Management: Accessing Public Benefits
  • National Advocacy - Corporate Responsibility
  • Trafficking Trends: Minors, Domestic & International 

Who should attend?

Legal advocates, victim advocates; social service providers; ethnic, faith-based and community-based organization members; local and federal law enforcement; attorneys; governmental representatives and anyone else interested.

April 23rd:

  • Networking Breakfast and Registration begin at 8:30 am
  • Workshops will run until 5:00 pm
  • Wellstone Awards Banquet at Zoo Atlanta

April 24th:

  • Networking Breakfast begins at 8:30 am

Freedom Network (USA), which was established in 2001, is a coalition of 25 non-governmental organizations that provide services to, and advocate for the rights of, trafficking survivors in the United States. Since the enactment of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 (VTVPA), Freedom Network (USA) members have worked closely with trafficked persons to ensure that they receive necessary services guaranteed under the VTVPA and have also been engaged in monitoring implementation of the law.
